Madrid, March 8, 2022.- SegurCaixa Adeslas, through its leading health insurance brand Adeslas, will sponsor four players this season who will compete on the World Padel Tour professional circuit. The current number 1 duo in the world, Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay, repeat in the women's category, while Sanyo Gutiérrez will once again wear the Adeslas logo on his shirt, as will Álex Ruiz. The presentation of the team took place today at the facilities of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona.

Carlos Hernández, Deputy General Director of Business, has highlighted the commitment to the values that the four ambassadors represent: “Being in the Adeslas Padel Team means fighting for number 1, but not only on the track. We want wearing Adeslas on the kit to be synonymous with effort, closeness and sporting nobility”.

Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay, champions of the recent Miami Open, will try to repeat last season's success. “We are aware of what it costs to reach these levels of competitiveness. We are very focused on daily work”, explained Alejandra Salazar, who is part of the team for the sixth consecutive season. Along the same lines, her partner, Gemma Triay, has expressed: "We know what we are facing and we work constantly in the short term to assume long-term objectives."

One of the novelties of the team is the incorporation of Álex Ruiz, who arrives with the illusion of competing for first place: "Fighting to be the best, with respect and admiration for our rivals, is an example for the whole world" . For his part, Sanyo Gutiérrez highlighted that “it is a pleasure to be in the Adeslas team, where we all understand our role beyond sport”.
