Coverage

Through the 24-hour customer care line, SegurCaixa DECESOS COMPLETO is tasked with the processing and performance of all the necessary procedures:

  • Funeral service up to the limit of the insured capital.
  • Procedures such as the last will and testament, death certificate, birth certificate or marriage certificate.
  • Legal and administrative advice in the event of death.
  • National and international transfer of the deceased, limited to trips of less than 60 days abroad.
  • The comprehensive funeral service costs will be covered for each of the insured parties, in accordance with the town selected and the corresponding insured capital.
  • Covers the transfer within Spain of the deceased insured party.
  • Covers the transfer or repatriation from abroad to Spain of the deceased insured party. Includes accompaniment expenses.
  • Covers psychological assistance when the insured party is killed in an accident or when the deceased insured party is under 18.
  • Legal advice by telephone. Obtainment of documentation: advisory services in legal procedures and extrajudicial advice.
  • Preparation of an open notarial will and advisory services regarding living wills.

Optional coverage

  • DNA pack: extraction, conservation and availability of the DNA of the deceased for clinical or forensic genetic purposes.
  • Study pack: study grants for beneficiaries.
  • Digital pack: management of the digital fingerprint and protection of the deceased’s identity.
  • Plus service: an additional €1,000 of capital covered.
