Our refund health insurance policies allow you to freely choose any doctor or centre in Spain or abroad, even if it is not included on Adeslas’s Healthcare Provider List. That is, you pay the bill and the insurance policy refunds you, in line with the conditions of your policy, up to a maximum amount of the expenses covered.
With this type of insurance policy, you have total flexibility to attend your preferred specialist and international coverage for trips or treatments outside your city.
An expense refund is the refund to the customer of the total or a high percentage of the invoice, which is paid when they visit a specialist or health centre not included on Adeslas’s Healthcare Provider List in any part of Spain or the world.
The Adeslas insurance policies that include expense refunds are Adeslas Extra 150 mil, Adeslas Extra 240 mil and Adeslas Premier.
With an Adeslas refund scheme, aside from having full general medicine, emergency and hospital admission coverage included on the Healthcare Provider List, you can request the refund of medical expenses for services not included on your Healthcare Provider List, both in Spain and abroad, up to the limits stipulated in your policy.
Depending on the case, expense refunds may take up to 15 working days from the date on which all the necessary documentation is received. You can consult your refund status from your Customer Area at any time.
