Adeslas Plena Total Vital is a health insurance policy with copayments and dental coverage included, which maintains the same monthly price over three years, enabling access to medical, dental, surgical and emergency care, specialisms, diagnostic methods and hospitalisation through an extensive healthcare provider list of professionals and medical centres.

Coverages included

• Primary care: General medicine, paediatrics and nursing service. 

• Outpatient and hospital emergencies.

• Medical and surgical specialisms: Allergology, digestive system, cardiology, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology, medical and radio-therapeutic oncology, ENT, clinical psychology, rehabilitation, internal medicine, traumatology, urology, etc. 

• Diagnostic methods: Clinical analyses, general x-rays, high technology diagnostic means such as NMR, CAT scan, etc.

• Hospital admission: Surgical, medical, paediatrics, ICU, psychiatric and day hospitals. 

• Surgical implants and prostheses: Pacemakers, internal traumatological prostheses, monofocal and bifocal lenses, etc. 

• Special treatments: Speech therapy and phoniatry, laser therapy, chemotherapy and radio-therapeutic oncology, pain treatment, etc.

• Bone marrow transplants and cornea transplants. 

• Other ancillary coverage: Ambulances, birth preparation, chiropody and robotic surgery for prostate cancer and kidney cancer (with an excess of €6000 for the cases that comply with the required criteria). 

• Refund of 50% for rehabilitation and physiotherapy expenses, up to a limit of €500 per insured party and insurance annuity.

• Refund of 50% of chiropody expenses, up to a limit of €200 per insured party and insurance annuity.

• Refund of 50% for speech therapy and phoniatry expenses, up to a limit of €500 per insured party and insurance annuity.

• Refund of 50% for the expenses of acquiring medication dispensed at an outpatient pharmacy, up to a limit of €200 per insured party and insurance annuity. 

• Travel assistance up to a limit of €30,000 per insurance annuity.

• An annual medical check-up adapted to the age of the insured party, with a copayment of €50.

• Service commitments to manage authorisations (with a response in maximum of two working days) and refunds (in a maximum of three working days), with an indemnity payment in the event of a breach of €200 per insured party and annuity.

How does it work? 

It is very simple. Each time that you go to the doctor, you only pay a small amount for the service received. This system, known as copayments, will enable you to enjoy full coverage without paying more since you will only pay for what you use. The amount varies according to the type of service or medical specialism that you need and has a maximum annual limit of €500 per insured party and insurance annuity. Once you have exceeded the limit in the year, you will not have to pay more copayments.

Some medical services require authorisation by Adeslas. Hence, if one of our medical professionals prescribes any medical test for you, you must send us the corresponding prescription so that we can manage your authorisation. We have the authorisation commitment to respond within a maximum of two working days.

The tests that are subject to medical authorisation are as follows:

• Hospital admission.

• Medical tests.

• Rehabilitation.

• Clinical psychology.

You can obtain your authorisations quickly and comfortably with a photo through your Health Client Area. If you prefer, you can also do so from the App.

• With health questionnaires.

• Premiums, copayments and cost of dental treatments without an increase during the first three years.

• Those over 62 are permitted when at least three new insured parties under 60 years old are included in a policy.

• Discount for new insured parties in the policy.
